CONTROL AND MONITORING SYSTEMS
INCLUDING:
PLC-PROGRAMMING
An extremely important element in the process of creating PLC software is to understand how the machine or process works. As a result, one of the most important elements of such a process is the detailed description of the control system, which enables development of a PLC program and an interface between the machine and the operator (HMI) according to the client’s expectations.
A very important stage in the execution of this type of orders is the simulation of the process with the participation of the customer. This allows us to eliminate assumption errors at the programming stage.
Our company specializes in programming controllers of the following companies: Panasonic, Siemens, Sick, Omron.
VISUALIZATION (HMI)
Our company has many projects behind it which required the creation of advanced Human Machine Interfaces (HMI). It is an indispensable element of any machine or automatic industrial process.
A well-prepared interface should consist of, i.a.:
- good mapping of the machine or process,
- simple process operation in automatic and manual mode,
- a clear interface with parameters,
- alarm conditions reporting,
- production reporting.
For the needs of the company’s Clients, our experienced staff of programmers has already prepared a visualization based on solutions from the companies:
- Siemens (SIMATIC WinCC, SIMATIC TIA)
- Panasonic (Movicon, HMWin)
- Omron (Sysmac Studio)
- Progea (Movicon)
HMI (HUMAN MACHINE INTERFACE)
The HMI offers such functionalities as displaying information on computer screens and other displays, recording results in a database, signaling an alarm, etc. It uses technologies such as the SCADA (surveillance control and data acquisition) and other image-based technologies.
DRIVE SYSTEMS
For less demanding applications are assembled on site based on a gearmotor and an inverter. In the case of precision or dynamic machines, the most common solution used by us is servo drives.
We make drive systems based on the equipment of the following companies: Siemens, Panasonic, ABB, Bosch Rexroth, Festo, SEW.
RFID (RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTYFICATION)
RFID is a technology that wirelessly recognizes objects marked with a microscopic microprocessor. A unique number is stored in the memory of such an electronic circuit, which is unambiguously assigned to the marked item, marked place or person.
The microprocessor with the antenna connected to it has various names, the most common term are:
- RFID tag
- RFID label
- chip
- transponder
COOPERATION WITH MES SYSTEMS
In the current reality, our customers require automation systems that can communicate with MES systems, which are to exchange data with automation systems. The purpose of such cooperation is, i.a., to exchange information on:
- the orders to be execute and completed,
- the place where materials are stored and collected,
- the produced quantities, batches,
and
- the settlement of employees’ working time on a given workstation,
- the settlement of a given line’s energy consumption.
Control systems made by our company are characterized by high transparency, easy diagnostics and simplicity of operation. The user can easily control the device thanks to the application of HMI panels.
The control and measurement systems implemented by our company supervise the production process using Turck’s RFID system. Such systems allow you to monitor the process and also make appropriate reporting to plant supervisors. An additional advantage of this type of systems is the ability to limit the number of errors made by the operator by forcing the appropriate order of actions.
Another example of operator monitoring is the continuous supervision of energy consumption of individual workstations and machines. This allows you to determine the performance of the machine at individual moments of operation or to determine the machine’s excessive wear due to the irregular work of the operator.
When making control systems, we make use of proven components from companies such as: Siemens, Panasonic, Turck, Sick, Balluff, Festo, SEW.
